Many homes are in developments that have Home Owners Associations.
Many HOAs have rules governing the look of the community.
These rules often forbid sheds that stick up above 5 foot walls between homes.
That eliminates the ability to buy a standard shed that usually has a roof at about 7 feet or more.
Hence this invention – a shed with a roof that is on lifting mechanisms so when the shed is not being use the roof sinks below 5 feet. When the door is opened by the owner the roof automatically rises up to 7 feet. There is a switch at the door to enable the door to be closed and the roof stays up. When the owner wants the roof to lower the action is to switch the door signal on with the same switch. that way the roof will go down when the door is closed after the owner goes out.
