HUGE Whole House Fans

Gearard in Murrieta CA was elated to show off the air flow after I installed the first huge fan in his attic.

Below are the huge fans that are designed to be in your attic instead of your ceiling so you can barely hear them, you cannot see them and you can leave your bedroom door closed. The duct connectors are used to duct the air from your bedroom window up through your bedroom ceiling and into the attic, cooling your bedroom fast for pennies when the air outside is cooler than inside.

HUGE FAN PRICES ARE BASED ON COMPETITION

The prices shown are calculated based on the QuietCool price for the cost of the air flow in cubic feet per minute. Specifically the QC ES7000 pulls 5170 CFM and costs $1700. That is 33 cents per CFM.

  1. at 33 cents per CFM –
  2. 5600 CFM is $1848.00
  3. 7600 CFM is $2,508.00
  4. 9700 CFM is $3200.00
  5. 12600 CFM is $4158.00
  6. 14500 CFM is $4785.00

HERE IS THE COST FOR THE SAME AIR FLOW FROM QUIETCOOL

By comparison you will need to put in multiple QuietCool whole house fans to get the same air flow. NOTE that QC’s CFM is overstated and is not reflected in the model number like Invisco. Here is what it takes to get the same air flow –

  1. 5600 takes the QC ES7000 (5170 CFM) plus QC ES1500 (1010 CFM ) at a cost of $2438 vs $1848
  2. 7600 takes the QC ES7000 plus the QC ES3100 (2400 CFM) at a cost of $2862 vs $2508
  3. 9700 takes TWO QC ES7000s at a cost of $3400 vs $3200
  4. 12600 takes TWO QC ES7000s plus QC ES 2250 (1850 CFM) at a cost of $4400 vs $4158

INSTALLATION COSTS ARE HIGHER TOO

To the QC costs above you must add the installation cost of 2 or three fans vs one. And note the Invisco huge fans offer more ducts for more rooms at no added cost.
