Yes, it was inevitable. 2-22 is George Washington’s birthday and in the Good Old Days (GOD, can you believe it?), it was a holiday. But no, those brilliant minds in our government decided to eliminate that holiday. Oh well, MY BIRTHDAY was a holiday!

I got some FANTASTIC presents from my dear wife Darlene’s sister Sandy, and her brother Steve, and our niece Denise and our nephew David. THANK YOU ALL!

So this page is to show these generous souls what pleasure you have brought to me and to Darlene.

First I must tell about the lottery tickets. I bought $60 worth but they paid only $26. I took that $26 and bought more including a $30 ticket that paid me $50!

Then I bought the gift I have wanted for years. A real chain saw. I got a 12 inch model with a battery and so far it is doing much better than the cheap ones that are driven by a drill.
